Jay-Z - To Release Magna Carta Holy Grail July 4th w/ Samsung

Jay-Z has become the rap king of product integration. He will be partnering with Samsung to release his next album on July 4th. Magna Carta Holy Grail will be available for the first million on the Galaxy III, Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note II. It also seems like the majority of the production will be from the gentlemen in the video above. Those phones are gay, but I'm excited for the album.

With the release of Yeezus just around the corner, Kanye has enlisted the help of a fellow mastermind. Can someone shed some light on how it's possible that this album isn't finished 8 days (June 18th) before it gets released? I don't understand. Can't waittttttttt.

R.I.P. - Adam "MCA" Yauch

A very sad day for hip hop. Adam Yauch, member of the famed Beastie Boys, has passed away at age 47. He had been battling with cancer yet it is still unclear if the two are linked. The Beastie Boys opened a lot of doors within the hip hop world and created a signature sound all their own. He will be greatly missed.
