Nike Dunk High – Dubai Edition: Employee Exclusive
Nike AGS, short for Austria, Germany, Switzerland, got involved for their regional shindig in Dubai. An internal competition among the 3 regions weed out a winning nation and recipients to this gold-leaf Swoosh Dunk. In white and emerald blue construct, with laser-etch overlay of esteem boosting slogan “We Are Nikes” on the heel panel.
Sadly, the Dubai Edition is a Nike employee exclusive.

Jay-Z x Nike Air Force 1 “All Black Everything”
As part of the inaugural World Basketball Festival – brought together by Converse, the Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball – recording artist JAY-Z will take the stage at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Thursday August 12, 2010, following an on-court showcase featuring finalists for the 2010 USA Basketball World Championship Team.
In addition to his performance, JAY-Z has joined forces with Nike to create an iconic collection of Air Force Ones – the All Black Everything collection inspired by the World Basketball Festival. Nike has donated the shoes to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation who in turn have linked up with eBay on a charity auction that begins on August 12th at www.ebay.com/jayznikewbf. Only two pairs of each of the five designs will be created, one for the winning bidder and one for the man behind the design, JAY-Z.
The entire Radio City Music Hall basketball and musical performance will stream live onhttp://www.facebook.com/wbf beginning at 6:30 p.m. EDT until its conclusion.

Jay-Z To Perform at NY Basketball Festival
Jay-Z will provide the opening act for the World Basketball Festival. The rap mogul will perform Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall as part of the kick-off ceremony for the weekend event. Event organizer Nike made the announcement Wednesday. The performance will follow an on-court appearance by the 15 finalists for the U.S. team that is training in New York before the world championships. The teams from France, Brazil and China are also part of the festival, which includes appearances around the city before an exhibition doubleheader Sunday at Madison Square Garden. The Americans will face the French before China meets Brazil.
