Drake - Club Paradise

New shit from Drizzy. Apparently this is on Take Care. Produced by 40. This song is not what I'm looking for from Aubrey. Album drops Oct. 24th.

"Dropping this for our boy Avery…this was his favorite shit during the recording process. 2 more songs coming tonight as well. ovoxo"

BEHIND THE SCENES: Drake - Headlines

DAMN. This video looks like it's gonna be fucking crazy. Like...where the hell are they? That is literally one of the coolest looking places I've ever seen. I cannot wait to see this video.

Lil Wayne - Tha Carter IV Release Party

This shit was PACKED with so many dope people. These parties are probably mad fun. Shout out to Ronnie and Sammie too, I can't believe they're able to do things like this. It's funny to me that Wayne isn't even in the video.

Jay-Z And Kanye West - Why I Love You (Feat. Mr. Hudson) Single Artwork

All this artwork for the Throne has been so dope. I'm not too sure why this is gonna be the next single, but either way it looks cool. Too bad Jay and Kanye don't have Birdman on their team, they could have sold a million too.

Yelawolf - Hard White (Up In The Club) Feat. Lil Jon (Teaser)

This track goes hard. I'm down for anything involving Lil Jon honestly. The guy just knows how to get shit going. Yelawolf is probably caking up right now.

-chrisKILL

Stalley & Citizen Cope - Assassin (Trailer)

A collab between one of my favorite new rappers and one my favorite bands for years? I'll take it. No release date, but this looks like it could build some hype. We'll keep you updated.

T-Pain - 5 O'Clock (Feat. Wiz Khalifa And Lily Allen)

Yo this is DOPE. Beat is crack. Lily Allens' voice is unbelievable. Just a dope song. I know it doesn't seem too promising, but give it a chance people!

Lil' Wayne - Thrasher Warehouse Skate Session

I'm not gonna lie, I kinda enjoyed this video. It bothers me that Wayne's actually getting a little better at skateboarding. I guarantee Skate 4 will have something to do with Lil Wayne.

-chrisKILL

Steve Stoute - Sits Down With Pharrell, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, and Jimmy Iovine

No big deal. Just a bunch of extremely underground people who are probably very cheap to get interviews with. Nothin' to see here.

Breakdowns Bro: Four Year Strong - Falling On You

I haven't actually listened to this yet, but I just wanted to throw it out there. This is there new single that will be featured on the upcoming album, In Some Way, Shape, or Form. I used to fuck with this band heavy. Check it out if you're lookin' for some rock in your veins.

Birdman - Y. U. Mad? (Feat. Lil' Wayne And Nicki Minaj)

And you wonder why no one takes Young Money seriously. Everything about this song is just awful. It's hard to listen to. If you fuck with this song, I feel bad for you.

ASAP Rocky - FADER TV Interview

If you don't know these dudes, you might wanna start getting familiar. I had the pleasure of meeting these kids and being around them for a couple days. The entire ASAP Rocky crew are all crazy young, they're all from Harlem, and they're some wild kids. #SpaceGhostPurp.

Who the fuck is this dude that he got an insane budget for this song? ANYWAYS, this song and video is fucking dope as hell.

When's the last time you've seen two releases from Mr. Mescudi in one day? This video's kinda wild.

Nike To Actually Release Back To The Future Style "McFly's"

Nike is set to release 1500 pairs of these bad boys on eBay (150 per day for 10 days) starting Sept. 18th. All the proceeds will go towards the Michael J. Fox foundation to fight Parkinson's disease. Pretty dope.  So it all started when the producer of Back To The Future sent out this tweet:

Since then there has been quite a buzz and some actual hard facts. So then after that TechCrunch says Nike sent out an invite for an event taking place in LA tomorrow that might be the real-life release of shoes inspired by Marty’s kicks in Back to the Future II. If that’s all this is, it would be a bit disappointing for anyone who isn’t a shoe nerd, but certainly better than a remake or sequel announcement.

AND THEN an announcement of Nike Air Mag shoes, aka the self-lacing sneakers seen in Back to the Future II. (Looks like we don’t have to wait until 2015 for those, as the film prophesied.) Nike patented the self-lacing design last year and now it looks like the shoes are ready for market. Marshall’s most recent tweet says “Going to need a lot of hover boards” and points to the video embedded below.
There was only one line description for the video: 'If I didn't know any better, I'd say that looks like shelves and shelves of 2011 Nike MAG shoes'

Mos Def Retiring his Stage Name 'Mos Def'

Born as Dante Smith, rap icon Mos Def said to MTV the other day that he will retire the 'Mos Def' name and will adopt 'Yasiin' in 2012.

“Mos Def is a name that I built and cultivated over the years, it’s a name that the streets taught me,” Mos Def said. “(It’s) a figure of speech that was given to me by the culture and my environment, and I feel like I’ve done quite a bit with that name and it’s time to expand and move on. Also, I don’t want to deal with having any moniker, any separation between the self that I see and (what people refer to me as).”

Seems kinda strange to me, but this dude is pretty strange, like he's on some Diddy type shit. KID CAN SPIT THOUGH.

Slingshot x Slip-and-Slide

Not that much fun. At least the girls seemed ugly and not that cool.

Lil Wayne - The Angie Martinez Show

Wayne discussing the recent sales of Tha Carter IV (964,000 in the first week) with Angie. He talks about how he was surprised at the final numbers himself. That makes two of us Dwayne.

Baby Denies Rumors of Boosting "Tha Carter IV" Numbers

Rumors have been poppin' off all over the internet about Baby probably buying up madd copies of Tha Carter IV to boost stats. Baby obviously denies it, but who the hell knows if he's telling the truth. Dudes got enough money to do whatever the fuck he wants.. I don't think he minds spending a few dollars to make Wayne look better. Whatever, I call bullshit. Baby bought 600,000 copies of the album.

Tyler, The Creator And Domo Genesis - Odd & Twisted (Freestyle)

This is actually a cut off the new Peter Rosenberg Mixtape. I didn't expect much out of this, but it's actually kinda dope. Tyler and Domo go in on the Mobb Deep classic, Got It Twisted beat. Plus they're just saying funny shit the whole time. Swag.

Blakroc 2 Trailer

Best way to start off my day. If you don't know what Blakroc is, well, you're fuckin up. Dame Dash got with The Black Keys to make a genre-crossing mind-fuck of a band, called Blakroc.

Their first album had a list of hip-hop all stars including ODB, Ludacris, Raekwon, RZA, Q-Tip, M.O.P., Mos Def and so much more. This time around they're catching names such as Jim Jones, The Cool Kids, Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, Talib Kweli, U God, Jay Electronica, Sean Price, and more.

I can't deal with how good this album is gunna be. No release date yet, but supposedly dropping before the end of the year. And as far as I'm concerned, that's too far away.

dopeVIDEO: Big Sean - Marvin Gaye And Chardonnay (Feat. Kanye West)

I can only assume this was directed by Hype Williams. Video's pretty dope. Only the clean version so far, but we'll update that asap. BOI.

BONUS: Big Sean's dope ass freestyle on the Tim Westwood show.

Have Fun Crying...

Dead ass yo, I was in bad shape when I was watching this on SportsCenter the other night.

"Ten years later: remembering a man who led people to safety after terrorists struck the World Trade Center on September 11th - a former Boston College lacrosse player whose trademark was a red bandanna."

Tiesto - Electric Zoo Set (2011)

The recorded set hasn't leaked yet, but my man Wacek06 hooked it up with the videos. It's split up into 3 parts of ear-orgasms. Unfortunately there's a bunch of crowd noise. Also, the visuals and audio are kinda sketchy, but it'll definitely do for now.

Electric Zoo 2011 Sets

I'm gunna try my hardest to get all the sets I can. If I miss any, let me know and I'll try to get them for ya.

BANGER: Tiesto - Maximal Crazy

I can't even imagine how long it takes this guy to finish these songs. I don't care how experienced you are, this shit is so tedious. This particular track is about a week old, but it's such a problem. Tiesto is a God. Bump this.

MMG & XXL

Rick Ross/Maybach Music are doing a split cover for XXL's October issue.

“I’m enjoying my last few moments at No. 2,” Ross says. “It’s like I’m watching the No. 1 man on stage, my legs crossed, I’m smoking big, hollering at the bitches in the crowd. And this album gonna do it. I got the formula.”

I really hope he's not insinuating that he's gunna be the top rapper in the game after this album. I got all the love in the world for Rozay, but that's just ridiculous.

Bad Meets Evil... Meets Europe

Cameos from Rihanna, Skylar Grey, D12, and Alchemist.

Lil Wayne (Almost) Sells One Million Copies Of "Tha Carter IV"

So he sold 964,000 copies the first week. Am I really the only person who doesn't believe this bullshit? Where was all the marketing? Where was all the promotion? 1 VMA performance and all of a sudden you sell twice as many records as Kanye West and Jay-Z? Whose album didn't even leak?! Weezy can thank the Fire Flame Spitta for these numbers, mark my words.

dopeVIDEO: Justice - Audio Video Disco

This video is crazy. I'm really into this song all of a sudden too. I think the album might be insane. Side note: I really really wanna go to AC with mad people. True story.

Drake - Speaks On The Progress Of "Take Care"

I'm pretty excited for Take Care. Drake's just been getting on my nerves lately. Don't get me wrong, I know he's mad successful, probably crazy confident at this point, and he's just in his zone. But still, he's just got this new asshole swagger and it all seems so fake. I'm more excited to see how this album is received rather than actually hearing it. Sorry for rambling.
