Crazy Samsung Flexible AMOLED Screen Concept

So Samsung released this video of what they expect the soon future to be. Of course much of this technology isnt fully developed there, but Samsung seems to be close. They really seem to be on the forefront of screen technology, they had the clear laptop prototype and other flexible cell phone ones. Either way, they said this might be ready by 2012. God, technology is gonna be so cool in the future. 

Deadmau5 x Nokia: Amazing 4D Projection Live Set

To promote the launch of Nokia's new Windows phone, Nokia Lumia 800, they make this crazy 4D display on the Milbank Tower in London. Shit is pretty cool, pretty impressive. As usual deadmau5 drops some heavy beats, but everyone knows its iphone or no phone. #teamapple

Apple Officially Sends Invites for October 4th Event "Let's Talk iPhone"

"Apple has formally announced its upcoming media event after months of rumors and speculation. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 4 at 10am Pacific Daylight Time on Apple's campus in Cupertino—just as the latest rumors predicted—and will be led by Apple's new CEO Tim Cook."

Well fucking finally. Questions are still there on what Apple will actually announce at the event. My bet is that Apple will be releasing two phones, iPhone 4s and the iPhone 5(confirmed with accidental Otterbox banner shown below). The 4s (leaked Otterbox case shown below) being an affordable model with slight upgrades from the 4, which will be able to be used for even things like a pre-paid plan. And the 5 will be the new contender with the dual-core A5 processor, 1gb of RAM, Qualcomm Gobi Baseband chips that allow it to operate on both GSM and CDMA networks, an 8mp camera, and said to be the best feature, 'Assistant' the Siri and Nuance speech-to-text/voice navigation program that is supposed to put Apple finally above Android in that category. 

I guess all the questions will be answered on October 4th. #teamiphone

The Apple iPad 2

Steve Jobs hosted another Apple event today for their iPad 2. Shipping out March 11th, the iPad 2 is a huge upgrade from its predecessor. The new A5 chip will boost the iPad to a 2x faster CPU and 9x faster graphics. The iPad 2 is also 33% thinner. Measuring up to only 8.8mm its thinner than the iPhone 4! Also its lighter than the original iPad, weighing in at 1.3lbs. Being so much smaller, it still retains its 10 hour battery life. New features include front and rear facing cameras; so FaceTime, hdmi video output, iOS 4.3 with apps like Photobooth, and iMovie, and it comes in black and white.  Also Steve Jobs showed a new case called the Smart Cover that is attached by magnets that automatically wakes the iPad when you open it, and puts it to sleep when it closes it. The cover sits on top of the screen perfectly aligned.

Wall Street Journal Reports: iPhone Finally Comes To Verizon

Reports say that Apple is in the process of making the iPhone for Verizon, they are making a CDMA version of the iPhone that should be available by the first quarter of next year. If this is true, I am absolutely getting this, all you AT&T losers out there that dont have an iPhone are just not intelligent. #crossingmyfingers
